There’s no doubt that this Christmas is going to be a little different for many of us, but I still can’t help but get excited about giving personal and meaningful gifts to friends and family. And the colder season is the perfect time for baking some feel-good homely treats!
I get so excited about all the flavours, colours, and decorations I get to play with when baking at Christmas. I’ll often get carried away with baking this time of year and end up with an overflowing freezer, which is why I decided to start turning my bakes into gifts!
So for years now, I’ve been spending the winter months baking up a storm of freezer-friendly and long-lasting treats to gift to friends and family, in ribboned and wrapped mystery boxes – a tradition I think they enjoy as much as I do!
And now I’ve decided to share my Christmas bake-box tradition with you all in my first ever eBook (eeek!)
Christmas is the perfect time to share your passion with loved ones in the form of delicious treats, to give something that truly comes from the heart.
Plus, I find it saves a lot of money compared to buying store-bought presents. Giving something special and personal like home-baked treats to someone you care about is one of the nicest feelings in the world, and I love the smiles they get 🙂
But this isn’t just an eBook; it’s more of a Christmas treat gift guide! I’ve created a selection of exclusive Christmas recipes which you won’t find on my blog, with something to suit everyone’s tastes!
You’ll find a pick-and-mix of bake and no-bake treats, including cupcakes, cookies, truffles, brownies and more! You’ll also get a printer-friendly version of the eBook if you prefer printing recipes out.
Plus, I’ve created exclusive printable gift tags to go with your gift boxes as an extra bonus!
In the book, you’ll find some fun suggestions for gift box themes, like a gift box for Chocolate Lovers, Cake Lovers and Cookie Monsters!
I’ve also included storage instructions so you can make each treat ahead of Christmas and cut down on stress closer to the big day, and even better, most can be made well ahead of time and frozen!
I’m very proud of this eBook as it’s my biggest Baker Jo project yet, and the theme is genuinely close to my heart. For years I’ve loved sharing my bakes all year long, but at Christmas time it’s extra fun creating beautiful gift boxes for the ones I love. Watching the look on their faces as they open their boxes and see the different treats I’ve squeezed into their box is priceless!
